Do you know the year of this one? Is there a serial number that can help confirm when it was made?
I tried to get it to show up readable on camera and failed. I also cannot for the life of my read it with my eyesight. Have tried natural and fluorescent lighting and i cannot make out the Numbers/letters.

Yamaha SG-2 Electric guitar (1960's - White) - $2,650

Yamaha’s first electric guitars officially launched in April 1966 under the names S302 and S201, which were changed one month later to SG-3 and SG-2. They featured original designs for the tremolo unit, neck joint system, and pickups, demonstrating Yamaha's penchant for individuality and innovation from their very first models.

A favourite of Link Wray, This was their take on of the Fender Jazzmaster. The guitar is in good shape with normal player wear (please refer to detailed pics) and both pickups have strong output with nice clarity and body. Cleans sound as nice as heavy gain sounds. With help from the zero nut the guitar sets up perfectly. The tremolo arm is missing it's plastic end and may not be original.

These were a big hit with the Surf / Garage craze in the 60’s and are in use with many Surf and Garage revival bands.

Can't see the pics in that link for the Suhr! Looks gorgeous though. I know you're slimming down, but any interest in partial trades? :) I've got a 1962 Fender Super sitting in Toronto collecting dust that I could part with towards something in this thread. All original guts, replacement speakers. Sounds glorious with all the brownface goodness.

I love me some brown fender stuff. I really shouldn't but feel free to send me what you are thinking.

Was able to clearly see serial # with a high powered flashlight. It is 1114 so likely 1976

Fender Telecaster Thinline (1970) - $6000

More pics
here.

Absolutely fantastic playing and sounding Vintage Tele thinline. Light as a feather too! Looks remarkably similar to the one that Gilby Clarke from Guns and Roses sold recently even down to the paint chip near the Output jack.

This one has been played plenty and i am fairly certain the body has been refinished at some point. Back of neck has a worn-in, satin-like feel making it so easy to play.

It is very hard to photograph black guitars so it is quite hard to notice, but there is a small crack in the body near the bottom of the F-hole. Nothing that affects the guitars stability, of course. There is a saddle replaced as you can see. Pots (and likely Pickups) have been replaced as well but original pots appear to be in the case.

This is not a collector's piece by any means but these guitars are very hard to come by. Not always saying a lot, but This will absolutely destroy most anything made in the Fender custom shop these days.

* detailed gutshot pics etc. on request
