My sense is that it's not quite as big, but it is fairly easy to spend a few hours there. As well - and never having been to Elmira, I can't draw strong conclusions - there are a number of pedal folks there, and a healthy representation from the Montreal area.

Sounds cool. Maybe I'll make the drive, just to see something different

Depends on the size of any purchase. I would imagine no one expecting to collect large sums for what they might be selling wants to have large sums of cash on them at the end of the day. If it's small stuff like pickguards, decals, t-shirts, or string trees, they might be up for it. I would also imagine that any place Darwin (the organizer) rents has to be able to provide good secure credit card connections.

Anyone happen to check out this double-cut Junior?

No, but I bought 2 pedals from that dude.

@terminalvertigo I didn’t realize it was you who was being gracious enough to let us use your amp to test the pedals. I guess I was in tunnel-vision mode. Sorry 😞 and thanks!

1) Always a pleasure to run into "the forum gang". All the folks nonreverb mentioned, plus Rob (Okay Player), Marcos, and Paul (Element 82), Sabzor (name?) and as ever, Darwin Demers, who organizes the event. Hope I haven't left anyone out. Was pleased to learn Darwin is still using and enjoying the Harmonic Percolator I made for him 6 years ago.

2) A LOT more guitars than previous shows. Both vintage stuff and regional builders (generally from Quebec). New builds had a surprisingly large share of fanned fretboards. Some fanned more towards the nut, some fanned towards the end of the fingerboard, and other that distributed the "fan" at both ends to minimize the slant.

3) One of the vendors had a pair of GIbson Sonex guitars ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_Sonex ). You'll note that, despite the fancy language, it is basically an MDF guitar. You'll also note that the wiki page makes NO mention of the weight. Picking one off the stand by its neck, you'd wonder if it had been bolted to the floor. EASILY 12lbs, if not more. I'm sure they sound fine and are well made, but schedule yourself for shoulder replacement surgery if you get one. LOTS of Harmonys, Silvertones, Kays, and others with gold-foil and other wacko single-coil variants,

4) Lots of great new offerings from local pedal makers Dominion, Templo, and Mayfly. But what stuck with me was an Ibanez pedal I had never seen or even heard of, the LS10 Dual Loop Selector. Have you ever seen so many jacks on an Ibanez pedal, plus a routing map?
