Since there is absolutely NOTHING about the original that can't be easily and cheaply replicated these days (i.e., NO unobtanium involved), expect to see these everywhere, the same way that TS-9s came back, and not in "waza" (i.e. pricier) form. I built myself one, to spec, and found it too shrill for my tastes. Struck me as perhaps more suited to humbuckers than the TS-9 was.

Anderton posted a side by side video and they sound the same.

I just called Rufus and they told me they've never seen something disappear so fast from their store. I think I missed the boat on that one. Hopefully there will be a second batch later this year.

 

What's the street price? I heard they were pretty pricey. Isn't the Analogman PoT a clone of this? What about the Guv'Nor?

 

The KoT/PoT, much like the JHS Morning Glory, are derivatives of the Bluesbreaker, with slightly different tone-shaping.

 

still have the original Shredmaster, it was a sweet pedal on a solid state amp, maybe I should try it on a tube one...

 

I don't know if anyone had better luck but it seems like all the bluesbreaker in Canada disappeared in less than 24 hours. You can still pre-order them in the states and in the UK but not here.
It'd be awesome if someone could prove me wrong 😉

I've play all of them, but owned the shredmaster briefly - thinking I'd sound like radiohead.

I'm thinking of trying the Guv'nor.

 

I was able to snatch the last one from Sherwood Music last night as they were showing one left on the website. Also ordered the Guv'nor from my local L&M as those were the two that I've always wanted to have in my collection.
