Yeah I knew about that, which is why I asked. It's been a couple of years, now, so I was wondering about what you may have noticed about his recovery from the interaction. Or was it simply clicks on a Reverb site? I gather the everything-must-go sale says something about his future prospects for music. Although, truthfully, by the time he IS ready to come back (assuming he can), all the technology will be different, won't it? IN any event, a topic for a different thread. Sorry for the detour.

Here's a couple boardsI recently put together. One is my digital rig - I am in a ambient/jam band and have been using the Meris boxes to really layer on the textures. The bigger board is my mainly analog board (had to throw the Zoia on their as a multi FX / let's get weird digital) View attachment 608866 View attachment 608867
I gather we'll see you at the Aug. 9 event at St. Brigid's?

We'll have to post visual identifiers shortly before the event, so that forum members can say hi to each other (and duke it out over the claw machine). In the meantime, here's my pedalboard for a jam today.
  • Jack Orman "Super-Buffer"
  • Clone of UNivox UNi-Comp
  • Custom 5-band EQ for solos
  • Amber Alpaca is heavily modified Red Llama
  • Clone of Foxx Tone Machine
  • Modded Shin-Ei "Companion" fuzz (original board, rehoused)
  • Caroline Arigato phaser
  • Keeley Octa-Psi
  • Modded Yamaha FL-10M flanger
  • Classic Electronics Australia tremolo build
  • Muza FD900 delay/reverb combo

Just rewired my board with a couple small updates. Just got the Atlas IV in I loved the full frequency sound I decided to slot it in instead of the Maiden (sacrilege I know). The Jetter Gold is fricken gooood and it pushes the Room #40 in just the right way. Also out with the unreliable switcher (never again OC, never again) and in with some quality Gig Rig stuff.
Happy days!

That…..is a hellva thing right there boss! What’s the 6knob black pedal beside the Golden?

Haven't posted for a long time. Went from a PT2 to home made modular idea. Been doing that for the past couple years, really like it.

As plug and play as I can get it, also wall mounted. Just grab the board I want to play, or two if I'm in the mood for it, power up the power supply plug in and play.

Old
Timey
Board.

Found that I have fuzz, just not any old stuff.

So, if you can’t have the fuzz you want, honey.
Love the fuzz you’re with.

No new pedals here.

How noisy is that, my brain can not deal with that much going on?

I'm trying this OD layout, with the Lightspeed as an always on going through my Maz 18. I really love the ODR-1 stacked with the Lightspeed. Lots of "body" added to my tone, even with the Bass Cut on. I use the Page as my third level of gain for leads, or even for an heavy rock tone. The Page going direct into the Lightspeed is also very cool for a more transparent tone. The Rattle or the Van Diemens(such a great fuzz!) are used to get dirtier and fuzzy tones. If I want to add some modulation, I could replace the Page with the Argo Deluxe's Boost side, as it is also very cool and musical.

Lots of fun!

I’ll be completely honest; it’s dead silent!
With quality power supplies, quality cables, quality pedals and a clean power from the house; there’s no noise at all. The only time I’ll get unwanted noise is when I put a Ge fuzz (zonk or otherwise) I do pick up a little RF.
It is a lot of pedals and over indulgent but I don’t play out and these pedals are the sounds I have been searching for. They make me happy!
