I popped into local acoustic shop Myhre's Music for a totally unrelated matter earlier today and there were these two very friendly - and talented - gents there too. I think they said they were with the rodeo?;)

used to have regular days and times to stop by music stores and hangout.
never met those guys, I guess the rodeo wasn’t in town. ;)
but the day I bought my 12 string, Tom Jackson- the actor/musician- was there buying a guitar as well, we were both sitting in the acoustic room, playing.

non celebrity cool stuff
again in the acoustic room, a guy speaking Spanish, with little English entered while I was trying out guitars.
we started jamming, and taking solos, etc, on songs he picked and I picked. It was fun.

I met Jimmy Bowskill and his dad in a guitar shop years ago with when Jimmy was around 12-13.
He was getting a lot of attention as a hot young blues player around Toronto at the time and was wearing a suit and a fedora.
Did I mention he was about 12?
Colin had/has a denim company with Tony from Tex amps. They are/were into vintage style selvedge denim which are often worn with the cuffs rolled up.

Funnily enough, my slide connection in the UK sells through that store and I have to contact them when their next shipment comes in to order a couple from them. I am heading to the UK next week and will grab some while there, but specific ones can't be ready in time so I will have to get them from that store.

Here's a "made guy" (jk) at the Iridium in New Yoik City doin' a coupla Sinatra toonz with LES PAUL on guitar back in the early 2000s... I'm sure some of you may have heard of Les Paul...can't remember what the status of anybody's pants cuffs were though, and sadly the photo doesn't show:cautious:... I tell ya, lesson learned though: next time pay more attention to clothes and less to music!
