Well it seems that a few courses are opening up in the valley. Hoping to get an early start and play as much as i can.
Any other golf nuts here ?

Yep! On a waiting list for a membership, but looks like we’re not making it in this year. Might not be so bad though with my wife injured and hopefully a multi-week trip this summer.

We may be just doing greens fee rounds again this year, meet you at Le Sorcier?

I'm debating whether or not to join the mens league at a local course. I don't get out as much as I used to. The last 4-5 years I've gigged with a band the whole summer, every weekend. This summer I have the whole month of July off as the singer is going to Europe for that month. So I should get more golf in this year.

We were seeing grass last week but had a significant snowfall last weekend. Since we are expecting rain soon, some courses could open quite early in April this year : FORE ! ;)

I’m in for any and all! My wife and I have played many eastern ON, western QC courses from Cornwall to Perth/Lanark to Heritage/Montebello and now that I am fully retired I have nothing but time! A round at Hylands would be great since I am only a few minutes away.

I really enjoy golf and am exactly as good as one should expect from someone who golfs once per year on his Dad's birthday. 😂

If i can fit it into my schedule (which is the real challenge), I'd be up for a round. 👍

BTW, if anyone is in need of a starter/beater lefty set, I have a well used, kind of rough shape but quite usable mismatched set that was given to me for my son, a lefty, to use but he has no interest, and is no longer around.

In a pay-it-forward way, if you can use them, they are all yours as they are just sitting in my garage (Ottawa West-Barrhaven). Ratty bag, some tees, balls and possibly a right-hand glove goes with it.
