Gift pedal from Thailand

A friend of mine who's from Thailand sent me a handmade pedal from a local Thai builder. The builder was kind enough to do a demo video for me before the pedal was shipped.

He does a pretty good job of demonstrating the range. I'm impressed with the versatility.

Cool, AND generous. There are so many brands/companies in Asia and non-anglophone countries that we rarely get to hear about. Turns out there are people playing guitar, and desiring to make interesting sounds with them, ALL over the world.

From what I've learned, there's a thriving music and recording industry in Thailand. Lots of local bands and session musicians too.

High-end North American instruments are not uncommon there. My friend is a big Suhr fan and he's cycled through quite a few and he often pays less than what I could get over here.
