Picked up the 'Valve Warper' pedal by AUDIOFAB at the show Sunday. Stopped by their station where they had a full pedalboard products. The 'Valve Warper' caught my ear due to its cross between a Tone Bender and Tube Screamer which can deliver gentle crunch like distortion to full on fuzz. The tone is detailed and articulate and gives a very nice touch responsiveness with a tube amps clean channel. Every note rings out true and clear and would cut trhough any live or studio mix nicely without the excessive EQ adjustment sometimes needed.

Todd Schneider is the owner, designer, builder with an engineering background. Very nice gentleman with a plethora of electronics knowledge.

I thought having the two rooms this year was a great idea. Not so crowded and you could access the vendor tables easier. Overall I thought the show was great. My son picked up a few accessories, my wife almost bought an acoustic guitar and I had a nice Lewis guitar follow me home. I love seeing the quality vintage stuff the Tone Bros bring but I noticed their display this year was significantly smaller than last year.

Agreed, spreading it out over two rinks was a great idea by the organizers.
I was talking to Roman and Philippe of the Tone Brothers and asked the same question as to the decreased display size. He said it was becoming too much of an effort and to some degree risk to continue bringing the entire collection from Montreal. However, their website will show all available sold and new inventory updates on a regular basis.

That is one absolutely amazing collection of vintage gear they have managed to acquire.

Last year I counted 40 vintage guitars with a total value of approximately $980,000CAD. Then there were the 30 vintage Fender Tweed amps with a handful of vintage VOX and Marshall amps sprinkled in the mix which I have no idea of what the total value would total too.

If I had to take a guess there may have been close to $1.3 to $1.5 million sitting on the floor.

Don't think I'd want to be carting that around the countryside too many times either.
