This person has my guitar. He was not transparent in the listing of it on reverb. I purchased the guitar. It had damage to the neck. I requested a refund and he refused and sent it to the resolutions team. They told him to refund the money and told me to return the guitar. I did return it and now he is refusing to refund the money and has re-listed on kijiji.
His name is and he is selling a guitar that does not belong to him. His reverb store is Classic Rock Guitars in Montreal Canada. He is a scammer and does not deal on the up and up. My next step will be forwarding all the info to the police. Please do not purchase this guitar as it is damaged and also currently is not his to sell.

Thanks for your time.

I sent a link of this post to the seller and he refunded immediately. He is also threatening to sue me. Imagine that, he refuses to refund me my money. He posts a guitar that does not belong to him with the intention of selling. He inaccurately describes his products and he feels he is the one who is wronged. The vast majority of the guitar community is fantastic, unfortunately it only takes one bad actor to make us all apprehensive of making deals. The guitar is now his to sell but the damage to the neck remains. The skunk stripe is separating from the maple.

On the back the skunk stripe was separating from the maple. You could see it in 2 places and feel it through most of the stripe on the bass side of the neck. He tried telling me it was a refinish issue. They don’t have my clear coat on that model, they are hand oiled. He tried to tell me it was a relicing process, my friend has 2 custom shop relics and neither has that issue. He than tried telling me that it was how fender made that model, I owned 2 of those models prior to this and neither one had an issue.

The above shows 2 separate areas. The edge is high enough you catch your skin or nail going across. At the end of the day he is not transparent and needed to be forced into cooperating. During the process he also stated that he was going to get his tech to take it apart because he felt I had taken the electronics out. Real class act.
