I just called the new store in Brantford and asked if it was permissible for someone (me) to walk around the store to assess the value vs the quantities I would need to buy to justify the membership.
(and to justify taking my business to them and thereby harming existing stores), but of course I didn't ask that part.
They said no way, I'd have to buy a membership and I could get a refund if I wasn't satisfied.
If I have to buy 7 months stock of TP to get it a few bucks cheaper, that makes no sense to me, but I don't want to close my mind to an opportunity.
