Precooked yes . Feeble I know . It was a knee-jerk impulse purchase , not worthy of a Maritimer . But I am " from away " , I only moved here in 1984 , and hence my weakness .

Great price on that lobster. I visited my local fish store to pick up some frozen tails for dinner last night and 2 small tails were $60.

So ,... I've had a chance to screw around with this stuff . The results surprize me a little . Unplugged the bass plays great , and actually is louder than I expected . But , it is rather thin sounding , ( small body ) . However , when plugged in, it sounds great , AND at the volume I expect to being using it at , sounds like it's coming from the bass not the amp .
Can't turn it up overly loud because of feedback .
But it will work for me . Nice woody , upright tone . The installed are a little twangy for a peizo pickup ( IMHO ) , but I'll live with it for a while .
