Did someone in your band recently post here on that Jazzmaster or list it for sale on Kijiji? I ask because I’ve seen it posted somewhere before, but can’t put my finger on where or when. I remember wondering what all the green was on the headstock.

 

Fuckers. I hate thieves- especially ones that target an individual citizen. They inflict a lot of pain, stealing someone's prized possessions that they spent hard earned money on. Musical instruments are also such a personal thing as well. Think about the amount of time we spend getting to know a guitar.
Hope you get them back. I'll watch for them.

 

My workshop is just off the West Island. I've printed your insurance claim details and taped them to the bench. I also have 4 acres of land, a tractor and hate thieves. They'd best not come through here.

Those are all very distinct guitars, and you can go by the wood grain to compare if you see a similar one for sale but don't have the serial number.

 

Let's keep an eye out and hope we can help these nice gents find their gear! Happened to me years back as well. Hate thieves!

When unscrupulous buyers stop buying obviously hot instruments, (most) assholes will stop stealing them.

You should go to the police with this right away. If someone withholds information about a crime, that is unlawful and they can be charged. He should come forward without delay.

Very sorry to hear about this, thieves are the lowest of the low in my opinion, best wishes to recovering your instruments and hope that your luck turns around from here on in.

 

Any update on this? Makes me want to keep an inventoried album of my gear locked away.

 

Just to give an update, thieves were released a few days later, tried to hit our place again and were immediately intercepted by police. Still looking for my gear, it's still out there, please if you see my Bilt or the others in the wild, call police right away with this info.

Please do not buy these guitars, just report them, they will forever be radioactive until they are recovered

 

I had a 1960's Univox Beatles, a 1974 Gibson LPC ( got it back in 2012 ) , a Carvin V220 , a VCR and a 1968 Fender Princeton Amp stolen , when I lived in Fairfax, in LA.

I hope you get your gear back, it Soul wrenching losing gear to loser / thieves !!!! 😢 🤬
