As a fellow Type 2 diabetic, I have long been inspired by King's commercial for a glucose detector requiring less blood, hence less pronounced finger pokes. He would say, with conviction, "These ten fingers are all I've got!".

I was fortunate to see him perform during what may have been his peak years in the early '70s. He was the headliner. Mongo Santamaria and Bobby "Blue" Bland were his opening acts. My friends and I made a point of getting there early to be able to get a spot up front. I was able to see the Dymo label on the headstock of his guitar, that read "My name is Lucille. I belong to B.B. KIng." Just a classy guy, with some of the very best finger vibrato in the biz.

We should put together a list of "Top Ten finger vibratos in music". My own list would have Mr. King, obviously, but also Paul Kossoff, Robin Trower, and Angus Young. I'd have to think awhile to come up with the other 6, but I'm confident you good folks will chime in.

Paul Kossoff's vibrato was incredible. Gary Moore made his guitar cry with vibrato. Hendrix, and also Jeff Beck used it beautifully, as well.

Just thought Id add this in. The Gibson Lucille 100 years edition.
