I want to build a simple acoustic board I can use for guitar work, any suggestions on what pedals are must haves? Specific pedal recommendations are welcome!

LR Baggs Venue preamp + DI, and a simple reverb. Don't go crazy with the reverb. You don't need much. The LR Baggs works plugged into an amp 1/4" or PA xlr. It has tunable high and low mids, bass, presence, and treble, gain, tuner, 10 dB boost, notch filter, and phase switch. The notch filter and phase switch are very helpful to eliminate feedback. I've used mine with passive and active piezo pickups, electric guitars, and bass guitars. It is very good at taming piezo pickups.
