2007 DREAMCASTER aka PSYCH #4
"Greenwich Village Custom Guitar (GVCG), Handbuilt by Jonathan Wilson, with his signature, stamp and build dates on the body and neck. J Wilson is the original owner/builder and is a major music producer in Los Angeles. He's worked most notably with Father John Misty on all of his stuff. This guitar was used on multiple projects in his studio. A lot of care and time went into this guitar with the elaborate detail that was all hand-painted by artist/photographer Amanda Charchian. It's funny, when you write these descriptions you start wondering why you're even selling the thing...haha.
Lightweight and resonant at 6lbs 3.5oz. The neck is hand-rolled closer to a D Shape, somewhere between a late 50's but not quite as slim and a 60s'. Doesn't fee like a "boat neck" though and has been crafted perfectly to match old teles. Like Nachocasters etc. Measurements at the first fret are .85 and .95 at the 12th. Lots of life left in on the frets which use medium wire. Lollar pickups that were custom spec'd for this guitar and have more mids, giving it a fuller/fatter growl than the typical Tele twang, but it's a tele at the end of the day so it can do everything. Comes with a paisley GVCG embossed Fender case.
Listed previously on Reverb for $5800, listed here for $4700, etc.
