My only experience with an A4 was one rental so that's of limited value, but I can tell you I really enjoyed driving that car. The AWD in those feels completely different to me than other auto makers' AWDs.

Should be easy on gas, fun to drive. Excellent handling.

Luxury cars, luxury car repair costs.

A part of that is knowing when to go to your trusted mechanic as opposed to the dealership.

I know this is a bit of a rabbit hole, but when the display screen (basically a monitor about the size of an iPad) went on my Infiniti, the dealership estimated the cost to get it back up and running would be north of $5000.

I bought one from a parts place in the states that came from a Maxima a few years newer than my Infiniti, exactly the same P/N and in excellent condition for $80.

My mechanic installed it easily and asked for $40.

I gave him $80 and explained how much he had saved me.
