Massive Guitar theft in Montreal, please keep an eye out - Let’s find that Bilt Relevator - Guitars recovered !!!

We are Rouse the Boroughs, last Monday thieves broke into our rehearsal space and stole these guitars. In Montreal.


Some of these guitars were modified because our guitarist has a handicap when playing so the nut he an elevation on the right side.

We are devastated by this theft as we were of recording an album and this is a serious setback.

Please keep an eye out

Did someone in your band recently post here on that Jazzmaster or list it for sale on Kijiji? I ask because I’ve seen it posted somewhere before, but can’t put my finger on where or when. I remember wondering what all the green was on the headstock.

Fuckers. I hate thieves- especially ones that target an individual citizen. They inflict a lot of pain, stealing someone's prized possessions that they spent hard earned money on. Musical instruments are also such a personal thing as well. Think about the amount of time we spend getting to know a guitar.
Hope you get them back. I'll watch for them.

I am hoping someone can help me with this : I got contacted from the Craigslist ad by a person who described the suspects but has since then stopped responding, if you know where this shop is, please report it to the police to help me out, the name on the Craigslist responder is Chloe Vanderveen :

You should go to the police with this right away. If someone withholds information about a crime, that is unlawful and they can be charged. He should come forward without delay.

Just to give an update, thieves were released a few days later, tried to hit our place again and were immediately intercepted by police. Still looking for my gear, it's still out there, please if you see my Bilt or the others in the wild, call police right away with this info.

Please do not buy these guitars, just report them, they will forever be radioactive until they are recovered

I had a 1960's Univox Beatles, a 1974 Gibson LPC ( got it back in 2012 ) , a Carvin V220 , a VCR and a 1968 Fender Princeton Amp stolen , when I lived in Fairfax, in LA.

I hope you get your gear back, it Soul wrenching losing gear to loser / thieves !!!! 😢 🤬
