The biggest nuisance living on a lake is the mosquitoes. This year, they’ve been especially bad. But, fear not, the dragonflies came out by the 1000s today and are chowing down on those pesky, and very annoying skitters. Alleluia!!!

I've noticed more and more around here in the last couple of days too.
Here's one of my better dragonfly shots,up at the cottage a few years ago .

Out here, the mosquitos keep the Dragonfly population in check.

The skeeters seem worse here this year too. It must be from all the extra water we have lying around from the flood.
