I have a Yamaki acoustic serial # A339. Anyone know how old it is?

I believe A339 is the model number.
I'm not familiar with Yamaki's, but I do know they're sought after MIJ's.

I don't know much about those yet but I've seen plenty of them for sale on Yahoo Japan auction site. I'm pretty tempted to buy one as they're pretty cheap. Are there any other markings on it that would give a hint as to the year.

Welcome to the forum Brian. You'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
I have an old Yamaki I picked up for $60, and they're great. The design of the label inside the soundhole, and logo & design of headstock will help you out the most in determining. I'll see if I can find the site I was using and edit this post...I don't know that it was one of the two above.

I have a Buffalo head AY386 with no stickers... Takamine MIJ stamped on back and serial# stamped on block. Top is solid, back and sides look laminate. Can anyone help me date this? New to this site...grateful for any info.
