The control knobs don't look original. Also, there is a toggle switch near the output jack. It is likely the push-push tone pots had been replaced at some point with standard pots, with a toggle switch installed for the coil-split function.

There is a SG 3000 for sale in Halifax now...looks to be in nice shape (1983 YAMAHA SBG 3000 WITH OHSC | guitars | City of Halifax | Kijiji). I have a 3000 and an 1802 that I was looking to sell earlier in the summer, but then I went away for work for 2 months and, well, absence makes the heart grow fonder and they are staying put.I recently got an 80s Yamaha SBG200 from krall, and I quite like it !
