Too bad, had my eye on this for a while, and was waiting for the inevitable sale, as I had concluded it would be a great first Strat, comparable to the MIM's, and ideal for a budget minded (cheap ba$tard) person like myself.

I really enjoy playing my Pacifica. The neck is quite thin which works with my smaller hands but if you have bigger mitts you might want to try one first. Great value however. Now if they only made a lefty Revstar.

I've owned three or four Pacificas over the last 10-15 years. Good, solid guitars, very playable and certainly versatile enough. Solid bargains at the lower end of the range but the upper end starts to get very nice, too. I like the shape of the headstock and their take on a Strat in general is pretty good.
