No. They are thinner and longer.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thinner YES.....it will fit
Width...lets compare apples to apples.
If you have a dogear humbucker it should be 84.20 mm from the end to end which will include the dogears.
If you get a P90 soapbar, it should be 83.82 mm
So depending how your hummbucker route is done, you may have a fit.
If the humbucker dog ear portion has its own route outside the pckup, you will have a problem. If its just one big route which includes the dogear portion of the pickup, it should fit.

The dementions above I found on a web site and used them to route my Tele for a P90. Actualy I did the full route for a humbucker just in case I change my mind. Worked for me.
...i dont have the info in front of me, but a number of companies make p90s to fit in a humbucker cavity.

one example is the seymour duncan phat cat.

thanks EVERYBODY for the information so far! it has been very helpful. The only reason i was hesitant on the phat cats is because some people say they arent as good sounding as real P90s...whether or not this is true I do not know.
I've heard that Phat Cats aren't the best P90 soundalike but I've heard nothing but good things about the Gibson P94's. If I was going to buy humbucker sized P90's that's what I would go with. Gordie Johnson's recent tone is a good example of P94's - that's what's in his signature SG.

ill have to check those out the, thanks very much!
No they won't. The P90 slot is about 1/32" too narrow.
