I notice he's got the Epi Jr. dimmed right out. Wonder what kind of sounds he'd get if he dialed it back?

I also had one that I sold a couple of months ago to a forum member. I had modded mine by swapping out about a dozen caps and resist (changing the filters), and swapped out the OT tranny. With the volume at around 3 and the gain filter turned off, it sounded like a 50watt Marshall. These are great little ampsand lots of fun.

Thanks so much for posting this. This answers the questions I had about whether an attenuator will make an amp sound like a can or not. Looks like I might be getting myself one of those Webers.

I have a modded Epi Valve Jr and Weber attenuator. It totally kicks ass. The attenuator cancels out some of the highs but I make up for it with the EQ.

Nice tone except the lows (at least via YouTube through my Audio-Technica headphones) are rather choked. A bigger driver might help. Those little amps are pretty good bang for the buck, n'est-ce pas?

Peace, Mooh.
