My main gig is in the Information Technology field and as a result I have allot of computer gear around the house. We have six desktop computers and three laptops in our home. One laptop is designated as the 'bathroom' laptop. Anyone else out there have a bathroom computer, or should I be seeking professional help?

I would think the humidity from showers or baths would be REALLY bad for a computer in a bathroom...

I need a computer in the loo.

I only have 5 boxes right now with three going at any one time. All are too big for our can *shrug*

It actually sits on a table outside the bathroom (where it charges between use) and I grab it on my way in. It gets used in other rooms as well, buy I always go looking for it when I have to go.

I was considering adding a little drop down table for it, but my wife won't have it.

The bathroom is where I elect to keep a bunch of books... though lately there are more scripts than books

Call me crazy, but I'd rather get the job done quickly and get out and use the computer in a much more civilized smelling environment.

Someone phoned me the other day and asked me if I had Prince Albert in a can.... Is that maybe some kind of code for Personal Computer?

My household is down to one desktop and one laptop which has never seen the inside of a bathroom. Most days the last thing I want to do when I get home is look at another computer.

I'm A+, MCSE, CNA, CCA, VCP. You have to be a real geek (like me) to know what that means.

MCSE = Must Call Someone Experienced

It's not a shot at you Robboman, just thought I'd share that with you.

Nice one Hamm. I'm in IT too and I can honestly say I've never thought about taking a computer into the bathroom. I rarely touch them outside of work anymore other than to surf the web.

Now there is a reference I haven't heard in years. I happen to have a couple of Prince Albert cans. Was a super pipe tobacco.
