Lovely acoustic @Mooh , thanks for sharing. Is this one a T3 jumbo sized body or a T1 model with the Larrivee L body style?
I found my T3C totally by accident on Kijiji, from a local Calgary seller had just bought another Thompson, this one a spruce/maple dreadnaught. Personally, I much prefer the tone of my guitar and feel extremely fortunate to have acquired it. (These don’t turn up very often!…) 🙏🏻
I believe it's the T1 though there's nothing on the label to indicate that. Wish I could have purchased it.

Funny story about that guitar: The owner, a police officer (though you wouldn't know it from his off duty demeanour), had the Thompson and a Les Paul that he wanted me to care for when he was away on long sabbaticals. When I asked him why he didn't get one of his cop friends to look after them he said he didn't trust any of them. We laughed. He was a good guy.

Seagull Performer…
I had to replace the tired tuners and so I did yesterday. I had postponed until the EXP strings would wear out but they do not seem to want to die, so, I changed the tuners because I was tired to see that on my « to do » list and decided I would try to keep the old strings on and fortunately none broke while retuning. The tuners are Godin, not Seagull but they fit exactly, so everything is fine ! :)

One more bar of Jesu on the cordoba, but mostly the 12 string. It appears I'm heading off on a supertramp tangent with the 12 string. Another week or so and I'll finally have quietest moments clean(revisited for brief periods over the last couple yrs), have the intro to easy does it and sister moonshine figured. Once I get them smooth I'll move fwd a couple bars.

Just so much fun! I figure supertramp alone is a worthy reason to have a 12 string. :)
Huss & Dalton Crossroads (L-OO style) playing some reknowned pieces from a tab book I had forgotten on the shelf many years ago (before I took lessons that put me on the right track about rythm)… :)
The usual, but one of my fingerstyle students came in with an electric bass so we worked on bass lines too. They read at a high level on piano, and play guitar pretty good, so the bass is a natural. I used the Gold Tone reso bass. Had a mandolin student as well so the Moon was in hand.

Martin OODB still discovering pieces in the « Fingerpicking Broadway Hits » tab book.

I had been wondering why I could sometimes see some guitarists use some B7-like fingering up the neck : some of those arrangement use them ! Well, fun to practice some « new » chords and fingerings. ;)

One new bar on Jesu with the cordoba, taking it slow trying to get it right. Still rain song on the tanglewood, thought I had it but one bar cord is giving me trouble; it'll come just time.
Had so much fun other day with cousin mary and the g harp on the 12 string found a harp lesson on knockin' on heavens door, so working on that.
Dog seems to love the harmonica, whenever I practice she's in here waggin' her tail. I think she's just sucking up 'cause she want's a treat.

Brought my new (to me) Huss & Dalton TD-M adi/hog dreadnaught with me to Regina to spend the Family Day weekend with my daughter and grandson. Love this guitar, especially its “hang in the air” overtones and full balanced bass. (Although, sometimes I think I bought it just for the cool H&D tweed case!)

Just proof reading/playing lesson tunes so whatever was next to me, but primarily the House cutaway.

Oh yeah, and spent some fingerstyle time on the Beneteau baritone.

HD35 Custom Shop. I think its a 2011. Sitka with Adirondak bracing, 1&3/4 nut and the smaller pyramid bridge. I don't know if the bracing and the bridge makes that much difference but this one is brighter than any 35 that I've ever played and it has tons of growl. The 12th Fret ordered a couple of these for their anniversary and this one was sorta forgotten in the basement until I walked in around 2016 and said "I'm lookin for a D35." ..lol
