Those Allan Alexander books are pretty good, and there're a lot of them.My officially highest grade guitars day, namely Collings OM1 and Huss & Dalton Crossroads, playing some Allen Alexander arrangements of Celtic tunes paying attention to the pressure exerted by my fretting fingers.![]()
That's a nice looking Furch! I keep switching between both my acoustic guitars these days (the electric guitars are probably getting jealous...), Martin HD28V (2011) and Furch G21-CR (cedar-rosewood, 2005). I call them the 2 sisters. An evening with the Furch. Love the combination of the Cedar / Mahogany.

I also love those pieces : I have a fingerstyle tab of Time in a Bottle, but none for Wicked Game (I have chords and deciphered the riff).(…) Practicing time in a bottle and wicked game (…)

Very nice. I used to babysit a friend’s Ted Thompson for long periods while he was travelling around the world. Understated elegance and killer tone.Today I enjoyed some Sunday morning noodling on my Ted Thompson T3C. This guitar loves drop-D tuning and never disappoints; played “Take A Giant Step” (Taj Mahal style), such an enduring tune! Happy Super Bowl Sunday to my fellow pickers!…
