Hey all, where do you place yours? I always had it connected to the guitar first, and now I am wondering if the buffer in it is screwing with my fuzz which is 3rd after a Vox Wah.

I have been reading a bunch of people using it last , but I cannot.

Where are you using it compared to your fuzz? and did it impact anything by moving it around?

Thanks

I have also experienced the apeshit. Why do fuzz pedals hate to be mid chain? Mhammer?

Idea for a band name; “The Apeshit Experience”.

I always put germanium fuzz (e.g. clones of Tone Bender, Dallas Rangemaster, etc) first in the chain. Always powered by carbon zinc 9v. I find those pedals like seeing the guitar signal first, and the guitar's volume control interacts with the fuzz really well.

For the silicon type fuzz pedals such as the Big Muff, I almost always place them after a wah, envelope filter or even a pitch shifter (Digitech Whammy).
