It better happen soon as I plan to spend some big bucks on a new amp.:p

:thanks5qx:
Jaggery my man, I hate to rain on your parade but but I wouldn't spend *that* money just yet. I see that you're in Mississauga (therefore in Ontario) and you're probably aware that our provincial budget will be released next week. There's lots going on the political stage right now from a new Prime Minister at the federal level to a need to show progress on financial commitment from Mr McGuinty at the provincial level. How it's going to unfold is everybody's guess.

But you and I and everybody else here in Ontario might be the *victims* of political theatre. Mr McGuinty is committed to lower the deficit and what we could see is that (when) the federal moves ahead with lowering the GST (by 1% at first), that he could let's say, "harmonize" both taxes and take advantage of this move to raise our provincial tax (you'd pay one sales tax). I'm not saying that this is happening next week but ou know, governments sometimes make a lot of promises. **Edit: and whatever they give you one way they come and get it back somewhere else. I hope I'm wrong 'cos I have had it with paying freaki' taxes (a break would be nice).

You might be better off making some kids, you'd get your amp money for sure... :D :D **Edit: childcare election promises... what is it, a 100 bucks a month per kid or someting?...

I have a feeling the Liberals will get in bed with the NDP to squash it, and then force another election in the hopes they can further discredit Harper and get back in power...............
Paul Martin is stepping down and then they have to go through their own internal *race* to elect a leader. Then he (or she) has to pick up momentum so I don't think that the Liberals are going to be *getting in bed* with anybody real soon :) And the polls still show Steven Harper as strong if not stronger than when he first came to power. I give him a couple of terms (I think so far) so I think that we'll eventually see the GST down to 5%. Makes you want to move to Alberta (no prov tax, GST at 5%, get your fat check in the mail from the gov every couple of months or so??:D ) GAS money...
