I have one just like that, except red. :)



I bought mine 2nd hand in 1990 or 91. I found something online once that said Series A was a Canadian brand. I've seen a couple of them, but not many.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I still like mine. I've never had any problems with it. A couple of years ago I set it up nicely with the intention of selling it, and then got playing it again and didn't sell it. Mine stays in tune well in spite of the floating bridge. Friends make fun of it when they see it, but it's just easy to play.

Made in Korea in the mid 80s. I used to carry a Series A strat copy as a backup and for the "jammers" to use. It cost $169 in 1986. All it needed was a fret leveling to make it usable.

First of all, sorry for bumping this thread i know how much the Admins hate it but, how wide is the screw of the whammy bar on the trem of the red guitar and would a floyd rose R2 nut replace the locking nut on the guitar.
