The warmest, driest Dec I can remember over here in Kamloops BC...We had lady luck on our side tonight for an outdoor gig. We were hired to perform in front of our city Arena. There was a big hockey game of course. We played out front. There was a beer garden and everyone entering the arena milled around a bit on the way in and enjoyed the music. Our customer provided and set up a stage, tent, full PA, soundman, lights and propane heaters. We showed up. Set up our Fishman "line array system" in 10 mins and performed. Easiest gig ever. The weather could have been way worse. -20C and snow is not abnormal around here at Christmas. The wind was howling when we began, but let up about 45 mins into the gig. At one point a large gust of wind flipped a mic stand over and hammered my partner in the lip. The temps were above freezing all night. It was a pleasant winter, outdoor gig.

We had a great time and felt really spoiled. No drum kit, no PA. No cares. Love this set up and playing with these guys.
