This seems like a very lovely guitar. It's one I wouldn't mind owning at all. It's quite different than anything I own at present. One of the owners used to work at Taylor. You can see the similarity in the looks. The sound? What do you think?

Solid Cedar Top
Solid Rosewood Back & Sides
Interestingly, the tuners are matched to the strings, ranging from a ratio of 12:1 to 39:1
Figured Maple Binding
Arm rest

I've played a few Waldens and they're quite nice. If nothing else, the primary difference between paying for a Taylor vs. a Walden is paying a guy in America a living wage to build a Taylor or a guy in China 1/20th of that (or less). That particular shopping methodology has cost North America millions of jobs and I try not to support it when I can.

** Edit: The only pricing I could find for the 3000 series is on Reverb where I seller wants $1,700. Based onwhat they're paying for wages in China I'm thinkin' somebody is making a crapload of money with their business model.
Maybe the CEO, upper level management and the marketing team should make a lot less.

When I was young if you got $10 an hour the goose had laid it's golden egg in you bank account.
Ha, you're obviously much younger than me. My first job was $1.65/hour. I moved from NB to Toronto the next year and was making $2.25/hour. I thought that was pretty good at the time and it was.
