Maybe the CEO, upper level management and the marketing team should make a lot less.
You have this weird misconception that companies that are "big" in your world... Taylor, Martin, Gibson, Fender... are up there with the Wal-Marts, Amazons and Microsofts of the world. They're not. Taylor is an employee-owned company who ranks 15th in guitar sales in North America. That's a small fish. I seriously doubt the CEO, upper level management and "marketing team" are making anywhere near what you think they are.
