Hi. I got the Van Morrison Live at Montreux performance CD for xmas which features 2 performances from 1974 and 1980.
I got to tell you that the 1980 show band was just incredible.
If you like Van's music you gotta check that show out.
The reason for my writing is that in the 80 show he was playing an Ibanez hollow body electric. It looked beautiful and had a really nice sound to it.
I am pretty sure it is a George Benson signature model and I was wondering if any of you knew for sure which model it was?

I've seen him twice.

Once he was almost too shy too play 1969, it looked like stagefright. The next time he fell down on the stage he was so drunk.

I still love him.

I'll look for that DVD.

Right on elsindo. You wont go wrong with this one.
This is the only performance video available of Van.
Sound and picture are totally awesome.
And by the way for those interested I have futher reviewed the DVD and confirm it is indeed a George Benson signature model GB10 that he plays on that 1980 performance.
Let me know when you catch that 1980 performance I really want to hear what you think of it.
