My friend has a Strat that he is considering selling and he is trying to determine
a reasonable price to ask

It is unusual in that it is MIM and is called a "Squier Series"
(see last pic of front of headstock).
They were made in 1994 and 1995

I think they typically sell in the lower end of the MIM Fender range; I see them go for $300 + or - $50 in good condition.

They’re fun guitars. Nothing particularly special about them, but they’re solid and a good value.

Seems like starting at $325.00 would seem reasonable.

I'm not sure if there is a hard shell case for it. I typically add $50.00 for a hard shell in decent condition.
