Which would you take for Fender Cleans and a pedal platform?

To help out, yes, the Princeton will be loud enough and clean enough for me on 3-4.

Assume the Hot Rod has an upgraded speaker...

Princeton, no competition. Had both, still have PRRI. Would love the Lonestar, but not letting PRRI go, hence you hadn't heard an offer from me :).

Well, a little more nuanced. For Fender cleans, PRRI for sure. For pedal platform that isn't as clear.

Yep, Princeton all the way.

The only way I would consider an HRD is if you realllllllly needed that much power and you were going to rely on pedals. The Princeton just sounds better on it's own. And probably takes pedals well, especially if you clip the bright cap (I have a DRRI and use the Normal channel for pedals - works great).
