Recently, I've noticed my strat sounding very..metallic...very thin. You guys probably know what I'm talking about. I don't know whats wrong with it.
The strings were recently changed...and I have kept my amp settings the same.

Any suggestions?

Well kinda odd.

I went to do what Mando said, and I turned on the guitar, hit a chord, and it started working good again. Out of nowhere! I don't know if it was just a glitch or something but its back to normal again! Thanks for the replies.

I betcha you have a cold solder joint inside the guitar somewhere...intermittent trouble is a main characteristic of this problem, along with thin sound. I got a brand new Gibson LP DC that needed to be completely resoldered!
