Time to troubleshoot.

Sounds like a connection problem. Start by trying a different cord. If that doesn't work, try examining the jack on the guitar. Then try switching amps.

One of those three exercises will reveal a difference.

I went to do what Mando said, and I turned on the guitar, hit a chord, and it started working good again. Out of nowhere! I don't know if it was just a glitch or something but its back to normal again! Thanks for the replies.

I betcha you have a cold solder joint inside the guitar somewhere...intermittent trouble is a main characteristic of this problem, along with thin sound. I got a brand new Gibson LP DC that needed to be completely resoldered!
