Got to try out the new Mesa combo the other day. Pretty decent I thought! Cleans where usable, not amazing but a good EQ pedal could make them sweet. The contour switch was also useful to get it a bit more Fenderish. The reverb was ok, again not outstanding but definitely usable.

The gain channel was fun to play on also, got a pretty decent heavy rhythm in 5 watt mode with the heavy switch on and the gain cranked. All the modes and features seem to make for a decently versatile amp for home jamming or quieter gigs, at a not too terrible price. I didn't buy it but overall it was decent for sure!

Never tried an F-series but I've read it's the new version of that. I played it at Long & Mcquade in Calgary.

Looks pretty cool.

I'm not sure why so many people slag the Mesas over on the gear page, they're well built, reliable, and most of them are very versatile and sound good.

Not so fond of the recto series myself, but the lonestars are really nice, and I had a Mark IIC that was one of the best amps I ever owned.
