It looks as though i may be getting a JCM Marshall tommorow, so I am thinking about modyfying my Traynor to the original Fender Tweed Bassman circuit(JTM-45?) . Looking through the I_Net , it seems the only mods I see for the YSR-1 are the Plexi mods.Hey,Can this Traynor amp be modified to the original Tweed Bassman circuit?

The only impediment to making it into a true Bassman clone would be the lack of a tube rectifier. A tube rectifer could be added, but would involve the addition of a tube socket and swapping out the power transformer for one that has a 5V filiment tap (or adding a seperate 5V filiment transformer)

Come to think of it, you could use a Weber Coppertop in place of the tube rectifier to simplify things a bit.
