we are talking about new old stock flibberjibbers mind you

the newer chinese made flabberjabbers have alot of lead in them
Thanks...valuable information...I'll keep it in mind when reviewing the specs.

Back to reality...I have been trying to learn about transformers recently and this topic can be VERY confusing.
There are so many specs that must be considered when replacing a trannie or when doing an amp build.

Have you looked at the Hammond online transformer catalog?

The very short answer to your question is: Yes

absolutely

way back whenever all this madness started
i had been wondering about where and what kind of transformer(s)
might be good for a little tube amp

all the cats here have alot of knowledge about these kinds of things
which are out of my usual field of thought,
i've mostly been a person to buy gear already working and leave it as is
