Hey all! So a good friend of mine, and myself, are planning on getting into building our own guitars and I just quickly wanted to ask any of you more educated folk what you would consider to be the basic and most essential tools necessary to make a complete build. Aside from building the neck. I know personally I want to make a bolt-on so that I can attach an aluminium neck to it. A complete list of everything needed would be awesome, but first and foremost the tools that can't be skipped out on.
Even more so, I would also invite any cool little tricks, or hacks, to help get by if a particular tool is missing. Thanks for your time!

Good bandsaw (don't be afraid of an older one)
14" is usually the minimum size for body blanks
Ridgid oscillating spindle sander is the cats ass for bodies and necks
Router or two with flush trim bits
Power hand sander, I like random orbit ones myself
Drill press

Oh and buy good sandpaper. The hardware store stuff is crap.
Canadian tire sells 3m stuff which is way better.
