Eons ago, I remember catching Mike with Seldom Scene ..... mostly at bluegrass festivals in the Guelph area.
SS were cool and hot at the same time in a genre that was considered corny and/or hillbilly ...... and Mike, who (IMHO) took dobro to another level, deserves a lot of the credit for getting radio/TV to listen and bring bluegrass into the mainsteam.
"Live at the Cellar Door" with SS and a solo album "Eight String Swing" were personal favourites.
RIP Mike Auldrige ...... thank-you for the great music.
