I wonder if he mailed the tax man the $26
Kind of pedantic. The guy's making the effort to right a wrong he committed, which is a good thing in my eyes. No sales tax would be required on stolen goods the first time around, anyway, would it?
The guys apology is on L&M letterhead?

Sounds suspiciously like part of a 12 step program. Nahhh, that would be ridiculous - musicians generally don't quit their bad habits.

I bet this screwed up the accounting department, though. "How do we code this?" That, alone, would be worth the 200.
