As I was checking out some of the NAMM threads here I noticed this: NAMM 2017: Hamer Guitars is back, back! BACK!
The prices seem quite reasonable as well.

Had a P90 Special. Sold it many moons ago. Would like to know where these are manufactured and what the fretboard and neck specs are, fret size, etc.

this is a nice looking guitar, and as far as trems go, i know those bridges, and they're pretty good. luckily they also make a stop tail

Hamer Guitars, founded in 1973, and finally discontinued after a slow decline in 2013, is back from the dead, thanks to six resissues from its Import Series range.

So it looks like Fender may have sold/licensed the rights and designs to KMC Music Inc

Obviously Hamer is coming back as an offshore manufactured guitar. Hopefully comparable to PRS SE models and the higher level Epiphone and Squier models.

What kills me is that Hamer had some of the best wood selection I've ever seen. Their tops were gorgeous finely figured maple. This new import line is veneer and a billion pieces for the bodies. Remember when people used to joke about $150 Squiers having 4-5 pieces for their bodies?
