They are knurled so I find them easy to adjust while playing.

I’m thinking about putting them on a LP Jr because of their simple utility.

I find the top hat sort of knobs from Gibson to be a little awkward so I have to think about them whereas the telecaster knobs you just do it.

I’m guessing that pots are the same all over but will telecaster knobs fit on a 2018 LP Jr no problem ?

On a more philosophical note: will 4th gen seats fit in a 3rd gen?

Thanks

Just get ones that take 1/4" (vs 6mm, which is a hair smaller) shaft and have a set screw and they will fit any pot (SAE or metric, solid or split... only flatted D may be an issue but I have very rarely seen those on a guitar, never at all on a Gibson).

There are those that say solid shaft (set screw) pots won't work on split shaft. They are wrong; work fine do it all the time.

You might try a set of Gretsch knobs on your LP. They're knurled and the arrows help as well. Gretsch uses the smaller shaft on their offshore made models and they use the larger shaft size on their American made guitars. Just tell everybody that the "G" stands for Gibson.:D
