A question for whoever runs this Forum.

Lately, some members have mentioned, much in passing, that this site was sold and is now under new ownership (how they know this is a bit puzzling in itself).

There has been no formal announcement, no intro of a new owner, no future plans for this site proposed (at least none that I saw), etc. As a paying member of this site, like many others, you would think we would be made aware of important events like this. No?

So what’s going on?
Who’s the new owner? What’s the plan? Why no formal announcement? Is this even true?

I want to say the change happened sometime around last spring or summer? -ish?

There were announcements and discussions about it in the beginning.

That explains it all and in detail. I have been a member here for over 10 yeas but have had many periods of non participation which, I suppose, explains why I completely missed this one.
