Heads up anyone who purchased from them in the past.

Re: Data Breach Notification

We are writing to inform you that on December 17, 2018 Tapestry Music Ltd. (“Tapestry”) learned that its website was compromised and data processed on its website was potentially accessed by an unauthorized person. The personal information which may have been exposed includes your name, phone number, email, address, details of items purchased, and login information. Please note that there is no evidence to suggest that your credit card or financial information has been affected.

On behalf of Tapestry, we sincerely apologize for this incident. We value your business and respect the privacy of your personal information. Tapestry has rebuilt its website with security measures designed to prevent a recurrence of a similar incident. We have also notified the Offices of the Information and Privacy Commissioners for Alberta, British Columbia, and Canada.
Tapestry takes the safety and security of your personal information very seriously, and we are taking steps to protect you.

We recommend that if you used the same password for your Tapestry account on any other websites or accounts that you consider changing your passwords for those accounts.
We also recommend that you remain vigilant regarding any suspicious emails that ask you to open attachments, or emails or phone calls requesting your personal information.
