Interested in this one because of the Goldfoils pickups, and they generally get good reviews.
Anyone got some direct experience with one?

Nice guitars, but originally overpriced, like everything with the name Supro on it. Absara Audio sent me one for review, although I would up sending it back. Absara wound up blowing most of them out to US dealers for peanuts after they didn't sell, and some retailers were selling them for $300. It had a nice feel and sound and a chunky neck that I liked.

No direct experience with the new supros but ken from roadhouse pickups made the pickups for them (or sold then the rights to his designs... not quite sure).

He was making reproductions of original supro pickups and goldfoils.
I’ve got one of the Kingston minis in the neck of my tele and it’s great.
Prob my favorite pickup.

Well, a local store got in some black Westburys, selling for $399! Given that's CAD, it matches the blowout pricing that happened last year with some big box US stores. Will definitely check them out, as I'm thinking of a dedicated slide guitar!!
