And here is another one we just finished today. I wrote this song after finishing up my berklee music program in 2011. More of a jazz / blues style, I don't sing often, but on this one I do.
Using my gretsch G6119 -1962 HT running thru 64' handwired deluxe reverb. No effects, just a little touch of delay add via my TC electronic M-one rack mount unit running into the console

Beautiful!

Congratulations!

The solo from about 1:28 to 2:14 reminds me of a specific jazz guitarist...I'm just not sure who it is. Who are your influences?...I need a hint.

Excellent vocals and lyrics. You should sing more often!

Thanks for this thread.

well thanks Dave!
Biggest influence is Pat Methany, also George Benson and Kenny Burrell, Miles Davis. Also the early blues / jazz players, and also a big classical fan as well ( Fernando Sor).

All favourites of mine also!

I heard some 'Bensonesque' lines for sure. In addition I listened to Pat Methany's "Watercolours" last evening and maybe that was still drifting around some of my cranial neuronal pathways (what is left of all 63.5 of them).

Thanks for 'talking' to me about jazz. I often feel like I'm one of very few here that is enthusiastic about the genre.

Thanks

Dave
