I finally got my strings and beyond order after a little over 3 weeks. I guess the lesson is if I need strings quick buy locally.
Well I put in another order today for a couple sets of Newtone Masterclass PB. I'm not as in a hurry for these as the strings I have on will last a while. I've wanted to try these strings for a while and there is no local supplier for them. Or hardly any suppliers. Right now Strings and Beyond is running a promo of free world wide shipping, no minimum. So that saves me on the shipping.
Speaking of shipping, while paying for the order my shipping options were

3 - 5 days $0 (USPS)
5 - 7 days $28 (USPS International)
2 - 5 days $44 (USPS Express)

Very weird options. Express which is supposed to be the quickest could work out to be the same as the cheapest options.

The USPS option, usually takes 10 business days and I get my S&B order. I believe orders likely get held up at the customs sorting station.

So I ordered again from Strings and Beyond. A couple sets of Newtone Masterclass that I've been wanting to try. I didn't need them or expect them quickly and of course they came in record time of 6 days.
